Wanted to take advantage of a promotion with American Airlines AAdvantage dining to earn some bonus miles, so I called in a take out order. When I walked in, the hostess said "are you Jessica?" I was surprised & impressed and said, "yes! She handed me my take out order and I headed home. Overall the food was great, perfectly cooked, presented well. My only complaint is that the chicken was overly salty for my taste.

I miss Don Pablo's, so I went to his brother's restaurant Don Jorge's. This place was amazing. As the typical Mexican restaurant routine, you're given chips and salsa to start off. As main entree, I ordered the enchilada combo with refried beans (vegetarian). It comes with beans and rice, but you can substitute it. The salsas were awesome, especially the spicy one. Staff and service was mediocre, but that's okay, they took care of us as best they could during a busy time. The ambiance was very nice with a Latin American vibe. It's simple, but showcases the culture. Will def come back!

Oh my goodness! This might be the best Central American food I've had. Fresh, very reasonably priced, and large portions. The flavors were subtle and interesting. The steak was cooked to perfection. The flan-perfect. Chile relleno-light and tasty. Salad-fresh, full of avocados and mixed greens and other good stuff! Our server was sweet and polite and efficient. The decor was nice and light and the place was immaculate.

Pleasant atmosphere, great and friendly waitstaff, and delicious food, and I can't wait to return!!! A family-owned and run restaurant is what I love, and this place is a find. I can't say that I get to Gaithersburg very often, but I will return a little more often to enjoy the food here at Don Jorge's! We started with the Ceviche Mixto, and it was excellent, refreshing, and a large enough portion to share with multiple people. I ordered the Seafood Saltado, shrimp, and scallops with onions and peppers over french fries in a delicious sauce with rice. Ideally, I didn't need another carb with the addition of the rice, but that is standard for how it came. I was too full to eat much rice, especially after the ceviche. My friend had a pina colada, which was huge and impressive, and she then got a margarita, which was also good. Drink prices were reasonable and very large! She ordered seafood chimichangas, which looked good but were very dry as they didn't have any sauce. The beans and rice looked standard and good. Portion sizes were substantial here, and there was no room to try dessert. It looked like the restaurant closed pretty early for a Friday night as they were cleaning up as we were finishing dinner at about 9 pm. I recommend a visit here, and I plan to come back even though I live a reasonable distance away with traffic. Give it a try; you won't regret it!!!

Great service, staff was so friendly , the Chile relleno has actual shredded beef not ground beef AMAZING! Also the meat from the steak fajitas was so tender and juicy. I last minute ordered an horchata praying it wouldn't be watery- it WASNT, tasted legit! I'll be back with my family soon! Also the steak nachos are def worth it as an app!

Had a great time here eating outside. Trains pass by but I enjoy that. Salvadoran food. The breaded steak was excellent. The staff nice and friendly. Since it was my birthday they provided the flan free with a candle. I hear their chocolate mousse is good. Will try next time. My friend had carne asada her fav. I definitely recommend this place.

Friendly staff, strong drinks, good food. My mom and I went for Cinco de Mayo and really enjoyed ourselves! The owner, beautifully stylish woman, was so sweet and came by to introduce herself after we joked with one of the waiters about the ambiance and taking photos. Great team of people coupled with meaty shrimp quesadillas and strong margaritas made it hard to say goodbye. Oh yes, and they offer a coupon via Yelp which they weren't sure people noticed until we used it that Saturday -- the owner was so grateful her marketing person offered the coupon. We'll be back!
